AnnMarie Bean started her training as a dancer at the age of 6 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She studied and competed at New Mexico’s well recognized studio, Sandra’s School of Dance. AnnMarie started teaching at the age of 16 and immediately fell in love with teaching “the babies”.
AnnMarie continued her love of dance at New Mexico State University when she joined a student dance company called “Dancers Unlimited”. She later graduated with her bachelor’s degree in Community Health.
AnnMarie currently resides in Farmington with her husband Jacob and her two children August and Harlow. Since the opening of her studio in 2013, she has coached a highly accomplished competition team, received numerous choreography awards, and supported her dancers as they continue their dance education in the professional world. AnnMarie continues her education annually through conventions and teacher workshops as she believes that the best teachers never stop learning. AnnMarie or “Bean” as her students call her, focuses on transformational learning and enjoys the process of helping dancers reach their maximum potential in dance and in life.
